Ok, my car is officially clunk free again.  It was clunk free a few months back but a noise came back a while back, then a noise in the back suspension came a week ago.  Man I hate those noises!  I was certain it was the front passenger side suspension clunking under load - it always happened on left turns.  I was wrong - I used the Hazet Castle nut tool and checked both front strut towers yesterday.  I got at least a full turn, maybe 2 on the drivers side castle nut.  This after putting locktite on last winter.

The rear- first I check the "big nut" on the Bilsteins - the one that secures it to the tower I guess.  I vaguely remember it getting to a point while installing where I couldn't (or so Ithought) get a wrench on it to really crank down.  Well I figured a way out and got a good turn out of it.  Went for a drive and NO NOISES again!

So - those of you with clunks - check those castle nuts and strut mounting nuts.
