Good point Maurits, there is the other driver, and distractions, I rear
ended a honda in June my first collision event in 32 years, she slammed on
her brakes at a gated light rail crossing when no train was coming and the
gates were up and she still managed to jump out of her car with her cell
phone pasted to her ear. I agree, I apologise for not seeing the full
picture from your point of view( and now mine), it is not just those of us
who know how drive fast out there, but when you are driving fast, how do you
correct for the non drivers, you can't when you are pushing 120 mph in a
corner posted @50 mph. Bill

This is exactly what happened to me a few years back doing 170 (and
crashed), and why I said these men are stupid.... You cannot simply expect
other drivers to KNOW you are coming towards them high speed and they think
they have enough time to pass. More specific, some people who do notice,
pull to the left just to teach you a lesson. If your brakes are OK you can
stop in time, but still it's playing with fire IMHO...
