Ahhh, now that the dust has settled I to am having some time to sit down and
tell my tales of this great weekend.

I have to say I may have had the least dramatic drive to and from. Im not
complaining though, I flew this trip solo from Vegas. The 4:11's combined with
the near triple digit temps across the high desert kept my speeds to 75 - 78
ish giving me plenty of time to take in the beautiful Utah scenery, however, I
have never been passed by so many cars in a single road tip ever. lol The
drive home was pretty nice, I had a completely dry drive with a few high clouds
against the blue sky giving me a break from the sun every now and then. I
made better time on the way home but gas mileage suffered due to the 35-40 mph
head wind. I got back into Vegas as the sun was getting low in the sky so I
never had the high temps that I was dreading. In hindsight I hated to bail out
early on Sunday, but it did work to my advantage as far as comfort goes.

My car did extremely well despite the maiden voyage on the clutch and tranny
swap only days prior, it reinforced my decision to buy this car a few months
ago as this was the kind of weekend I really needed. Paul mentioned that I
earned the bravest soul award for coming that far by myself, but I didnt mention
that I deserved it more for the fact that I did not pack one single tool or
one spare part :O} (however I did join AAA thursday evening)

It was great to finally meet Andrew and Tony after literally years of
communication via audifans. As far as the CO Boys go, it was great to see you all
again, I miss having all you guys in "my backyard", who knows maybe I'll be back
sooner than later.

Paul did a stand-up job putting this gathering together, Kudos to his support
staff - Pauline and Denali.

Everyone else has done well with their details of the weekend, but I must
reinforce this being a most excellent venue for future UrQ gatherings. Something
is very special about thundering thru the mountains in one of these awesome
machines. I would put in my early vote for Park City to be a future site for
another gathering.

Sean
