Thanks Dennis.
So your car too has broken a mount...
How were your a-arms bushings when this happened?
Mine are newish but maybe they're too soft (I suspect my FLAPS just sold
me the standard 4000 units) and the a-arm is pulling back under heavy
braking (which I do often...), enough to break the swaybar mount.

Re: [urq] Broken front sway bar mount
Same thing happened to my car about a year ago. I made a strap from some
strap metal till I could get to the salvage yard to grab some spares.
Handling issues are from my very limited understanding and experience
opposite ended. To change the handling at the font, you change the chasis
at the rear and vice versa. My car with only a front bar pushes, as most
manufacturers design for what they call "safety reasons". Personally, I'd
rather spin than slide into someone- oh well. I would someday like to get
the rear bar on my car to see the difference.
AAMOF-on our recent jaunt to West Coast UPG from Colorado, some cars had
the rear bar and were cornering at higher speeds than us without. It does
work!
