[urq] Big brakes for 8X15" Ronal lovers...

Chaps,

For reasons I'm not quite clear on I recently ended up contacting a chap
called Corey in the UK who has designed a big brake kit for urq owners
who want to retain their 8x15" Ronals. He has delivered about 30 kits to
date.

The components are;

Audi brake discs
Porsche brake pads
Porsche Monoblock calipers
Custom Brackets to mount the caliper to the Strut.
 
The key to this kit is obviously the custom caliper brackets. 
The discs are 300mmx25mm. Go and measure your Ronals and G60 conversion
discs now, yes, 300mm!

Anyway, I'm an interested in upping my G60 brakes...but I love my white
15x8 Ronals.

Corey is interested in putting together a group buy package for us here
in the US. This would involve having the brackets machined here, (or use
something like e-machineshop), with a nominal 'fee" going to Corey for
his "intellectual property". Or he could assemble the kits in the UK and
ship them over to us . This latter option would result in more cost, but
less "engineering hassle".

So, anyone interested?
I would be wiling to coordinate the group buy, as long as you promise to
behave better than the last radiator group buy I did a few years back!
