Eric,
The bushing mounting holes should be round. If they are ovalized, they are damaged. I had one like that as well that I had to replace.
Steve
Gang,
I am replacing the bushings in a set of the cast steel control arms
used on the later 90q/CQ cars. When I pushed the bushings out, I noticed
that the holes in the control arms were not round, but ovalized. I am
not sure if this is normal or something happened to the control arms
to cause this.
Does anyone have experience with replacing the cast control arms, and
is it normal to have an ovalized bushing support?
Thanks,
Eric
