Gotta agree. WRX (and maybe Evo) owners recognize these cars. I've gotten
a few thumbs up from them, too. The WRX and Evo, with their current rally
status, have likely done more for the urq in the last several years than
anything else. They have brought the rally interest to the US and when I
occasionally pick up a copy of Rally XS (I think it's called), there is
often at least a small mention of the urq in there somewhere - still after
all these years....

a while, but working on the Audis intensely :) I need a big radiator for my
4kcsq rally project, so I'm definitely interested in another group buy. I
bought a radiator in the last group buy, and I've been happy with the
results in my UrQ, but now that it's in that car I don't want to cherry pick
it and reinstall the auxiliary. It'd have to be notably less that 700
though... As far as the "love this car" bit, I noticed when I pulled up to
my Subaru club meets (in the UrQ everyone crowded around, or when any WRX
owners saw it they knew what it was. Only about 2 of my Audi customers at
work have any clue. Most Scooby enthusiasts are rally fans, and know enough
history to know what the UrQ did for the sport. Pretty cool, actually. I
like being asked by Suby people to bring the UrQ instead of my (former) 'Rex
wagon (um... need mechanical parts?)
