[urq] Good paint for headlight trim?

Hi there,

I need to repaint the black OEM headlight surrounds on my car. This is the
second set I get (thanks Al K.!!) and one of them is not nice. Since these
parts have the black paint over the chromed-plastic, I need something
better than the average spray paint. I already did some test on one set,
and it don't last. I even sanded the chromed face, but this stuff is real
hard and there was not much effect on the finish.

I try some pinstripes too, but the result is not very good.

Is there a rubbery paint (or primer) available ? Something that will hold
to the chrome but won't be chipped by the road debris? Spray or brush, it
doesn't matter.
