Another option is to use a UV leak detector: you put a dye in the oil, run
the engine, and light the area with a special UV flashlight. Very
efficient.
These kits are available here for 20-30$CAN here at Canadian Tire.

Since it's so easy to see there (NOT), I suggest removing the front grille,
spraying the suspected area and above the filter flange with your favorite
brake clean, letting it dry and then check for leaks again with flashlight.
Of course, I don't recall if you can even see the are with just the grille
removed -- you may want to remove the bumper/facia as well. By sizeable --
do you mean dripping or streaming?
