So, I'm not the only Scalextric/SCX/etc nerd here, then.  I've got a few
varieties of the urq, but my favorite to "drive" is the IMSA 90Q (and
Dunlop twin).  I'm not sure if it's the gear driven front axle (rather
than belt) or just the overall balance of the car, but the tail-out
action is much more controllable because the front end will often pull
it back in line.

Elizabeth's choice is the Mini Cooper S, of course.  Its magnets and
modern motor put it in a whole 'nother league.  It's exciting, but much
more difficult to save when it reaches the limit.
