That is what I thought.  I have already installed a later cooling neck with a sender dedicated to the guage.  This may have been screwing up the car.  Something makes a difference already, as it is driving much better - pulls harder.  I keep finding little things that each make a small difference.

         Ben, absolutely NOTHING other than the ECU should be connected to the coolant sensor just near Plug #1. It will alter the current/voltage supplied by the ECU and therefore the apparent coolant temperature.
