I had the exact same thing happen to me on the highway. My car has
been burning coolant, presumably from a warped head or blown gasket.
Anyways, the car would start to stumble at above 3500rpm, or full
boost. It felt like one cylinder was not firing. I figured it was
due to a leak in the junction between head and block, with gases
escaping, but Chris at force5 suggested that it might be coolant
killing the spark. That sounds pretty realistic to me, but I can't be
sure.

Maybe the same thing is happening with yours...a small crack in the
head or a bad gasket? I would think it would show up in a compression
test, but it might be worth it to take a look inside and see what you
find.

My car did the exact same thing fro most of its life. The last 5-6 months
(before it was destroyed by the hit & run) I got rid of it by richening the
fuel from the metering head. I don't have time to explain right now (late for
work) but will post more tonight.

Andrew;
Is your car still for sale?
