[urq] Tire size for Ronal 15" X 8" for '83 UrQ

If there are any tire engineers out there I'd be
interested what characterstics are at risk with too
wide a rim.  Does the risk of failure require - low
pressure, high speed, cornering forces, road impacts? 
Normally I'd never exceed a tires spec - but since
audi did fit the 215's on the 8" ronals - I feel that
it can be all wrong.
