Like Steve and others have said, make sure the WOT switch is working and
adjusted properly, so when it is tripped the ECU is going open loop on
the mixture control and the duty cycle is going to the correct value.

For the fuel pump, have you done the relayed fuel pump mod? This
involves
installing a relay under under the back seat which is triggered by the 
12V signal that is currently powering the FP. With this mod, you are
giving
the FP good voltage right from the battery. This mod has been documented
on the list a few times and should probably show up in a search. At a
minimum do this mod and check your performance again.
