Hi Steve,

They should work.  My '83 is also lowered and I was running 225/50 
Dunlop SP8000 on the 8" Ronals and encountered no rubbing till I 
chauferred the guys at the SLA UPG back in September.  Sinice the 
Dunlops were on their last legs, I put on a set of Kumhos Ecsta 711 in 
215/50-15.  They don't fill out the wheel arches as much, but I've been 
delighted by the way they feel and you can't beat the price.
