All,

For your reference concerning this Saturdays events, courtesy of Granby
resident Bob Rossato:

Have at it:

-------------------------------

Other than tenting it at Bys' house, the closest lodging would be the Granby
Motel (860-653-2553). Though it is a 50's era motel, so I can't vouch for
how comfortable it will be. I called and they said they had 2-3 rooms
available for Sat. night. $55 - $60 depending on whether 1 or 2 beds.
There is also a B&B in Granby Center (www.dutchirisinn.com) but rooms there,
if they have any available, start at $120/night.

Otherwise, I would look into the Windsor Locks area. Much newer hotels, but
obviously more expensive than the No-tell Motel in Granby. Approx. 15 miles
from S-fest.

I would call the various places as I think some of them have lower rates
than are listed on this link. You could probably find something for
$70/night.

At the bottom of the above link there is also choices for surrounding towns.
I would check East Windsor (Holiday Inn Express) and Enfield. They're a
little further East.

Hope that helps.

Bob
