News for anyone interested in accumulating information on our cars:
Just in time for the 3rd annual UPG in CT, I have completed work on a
project started 2 years ago. The North American Ur-quattro registry is
now online!
http://www.ur-quattro.com/registry/
The goal of this site is to allow owners to input information about
their cars online, and then allow other owners to view that information.
The amount of information provided is up to the individual owner. You
may even enter information, such as name and city / state, but prevent
it from being viewed by others. You can be as anonymous as you wish to
be, while still providing information that will be forwarded to the
completely PRIVATE registry that Bill Bremer holds.
There are some other good things about this online version. If you
enter a location for the car (ie city / state or zipcode) It will
calculate a Lat / Long. For making a point on the (soon to be Dynamic)
owners page at www.ur-quattro.com <http://www.ur-quattro.com/> . This
does NOT use your home address, only the location on the car page.
Also, if you enter the mileage of your car, and what you feel is a true
market value for your car, then it will be added into the calculations
for the stats page. Leaving these values set to 0 will exclude your car
from the stats page.
Updating the car, adding one, or changing what is viewable / hidden may
be done through the My Account page after you login.
Hopefully this site will provide a reasonable value if anyone else
suffers a total loss and needs some info for insurance.
Check it out, and tell me what you like / dislike at UPG!
Hopefully, Just enjoy!
