Thanks for staying on this Steve!
I wanted to kick out my thoughts on the intercooler ... It seems to me
if you're going to go to the trouble of relocating the alternator it
might also make sense to take one more step back and look at the big
picture. The first question for me ... does relocating the alternator
mean that you need to lose the A/C? My other question ... is the stock
location of the IC optimal? There's no question that for flow purposes
on the 10V engine the location seems pretty optimum, but what about
cooling flow? Are there better places to locate the IC ... especially
in the light that you may be going to an SQ hood?
The question on the hood is not for Steve ... I'm one of those who
ponied up for the SQ Hood project ... how long ago was that now? I'm
wondering, has *anybody* heard from the guy who was doing the work? I
suppose that I should consider the original expense a total loss and
sign up for this one. Steve, I am definitely interested in a hood, but
I'm not quite ready to make a real commitment or put money down ...
perhaps after the holidays! ;-)
