Thanks for the thoughts, Brady. I'd have to guess the 944t intercooler to
be better than the dialynx but not the 2Bennett one. The core volume is
very similar but the 2B one is taller and thinner. It's pretty much the
same dimensions of the RS2 intercooler.
Mine is pretty well ducted at the moment. I've been slowly improving that
and it has helped. I'm running a K26/27 hybrid turbo. Moving to this from
an RS2 turbo made a big improvement. I now get 2 or 3 hot laps before I
have to back off. With the RS2, it would heat soak just on the front
straight. I'm also running a two-stage boost controller, so I set it around
14 lbs on a cool day and I don't have to worry about temps. If I crank it
up to 20 or if it's more than 60 degrees out, I have to baby the thing every
couple of laps to let her cool down.
