[urq] Intercooler

The possibility of a larger intercooler is one that I've considered since
I've gotten my car, especially during my "it must be 20v turbo" phase (which
I am now over). Like Steve, I want to keep my A/C, what's the good of
having this great driving car if I have to sweat myself soaking to enjoy it
4 months of the year? I guess if it were a track car I might look at it
differently.
Javad over at 034efi put an electric power steering pump in his 80tq car,
his site talks a lot about the EFI, and the turbo, the header, etc. but
doesn't mention the PS pump much (if at all). AFAIK, he used one out of an
older Toyota MR2. I've considered this for myself, my EFI conversion not
only removed all of the CIS intake madness on the passenger side of the
engine, but also allows for the removal of the injector cooling fan, intake
hose, shroud, etc. and auxiliary pressure regulator from the driver side of
the engine. I'm sure there's room enough in there to fit an electric PS
pump, which would probably make room for the alt. on the driver side as
well. I'll be interested to see what Steve finds for a more modern/smaller
AC solution, but I wouldn't think that the cost of the pump from an old
Toyota and a couple of custom power steering lines woud be that bad. Just
an idea to throw out there to those who want to modernize but also want to
stick with a 10v engine.
