Correct me if I am wrong:
If you want to improve IC efficiency, you may follow the "bigger" route, or
you may follow the "better" route.
In my very limited understanding of a "better but not bigger" route, I can
think of all these:
1- Change aluminum for copper (better heat conductivity ???);
2- Add 2 or 3 very fast small diameter fans behind it (where there is
space);
3- Water spraying. Or better, use a faster evaporating liquid, like a mix of
alcohol and water, non-flammable of course ;
4- Why not implement a water-to-air intercooler, with a stock-sized
air-to-water IC in the stock location, and a remote water-to-air IC (in a
wheelwell, under the floor, on the other side of the valance, etc.)
Can someone chime in and explain me if these "solutions" are feasible, and
if they are worth any good to your problem ?
Louis-Alain
