Definitely.
It is fairly controllable in that you can almost take a layer off at a time.
Plus, as it is in gel form it onlt goes where you want it. Unless you spill
it of course! It will if you repeat application take you down to bare metal
which is what you need to do to be sure there is no latent rust lurking
underneath.
