Hi,
An EFI fuel rail shoulnd't interfere with the round throttle bodies on
an urq or KH motor. Some have been able to use them with the oval
shaped MC throttle body too, either by modifying the throttle body or
using shorter injectors. Another option might be to space out the
intake away from the head, which might as well incorporate a phenolic
spacer. To put EFI injectors in a CIS head, you just need the screw
in injector inserts from a VW Digifant car like a Golf. Fuel rails
for 10vt's are available from 034efi.
I can't say that I've efi'ed a 10vt, but I have an MC1 on a stand with
3B injectors and a fuel rail semi-installed (no mounting tabs yet, and
will use a KH intake/TB). On its way to me are a modified MAC10x ecu
and assembled Megasquirt ecu, which are slated to go with that motor
and a 5kt fwd 5 speed tranny into a Coupe GT.
Hth,
Ken
