Before you get your panties in a knot.. :)
There is two types of Eibachs for the Typ85 bodies...
For the 4kq/80q (Europe) kit# 1504.1.40 Spring numbers EW 1504001 VA front
and EW 1504002 HA rear
The other kit# 1511.14 for the Ur-q... this kit in no longer available.
Brandon, do you have spring numbers for your kit??
I mounted the 4kq kit on my Ur-q not knowing the application, and it looked
like the latest from rice club, front end sunk down and back end way up..
The only other springs are the H&Rs but I also did not like how low the car
was with those.
So... let the hunt for the holy grain begin... ;)
Cheers

well just a little data point here....
a couple weeks ago the local track had an open track week - as in FREE
lapping. When I was talking with another Lister who said he was going to go
so I said what the heck. So three of us urq guys showed up and had some
fun. I hadn't driven on the track in quite some time - and thinking back I
did a truly pathetic job - horrible horrible lines etc. But man what a
blast!!! The one thing that was really bugging me was how wallow-y the car
felt - something I didn't recall at all from the last time I was out - which
was with stock Boges and stock '84 springs (vs now with '84 springs and
Bilsteins). So two days later we put in the Eibachs I had in my garage
since Sept. (Thanks Andrew!). Let me tell you - talk about virtually no
compromise! the car has a better look at about 3/4 inch lower than '84 ride
height, much less dive and squat and body roll. And also just around town
most bumps feel less harsh. I guess the lower springs put the Bilsteins in
a better range of motion. Totally awesome.
If you come across some Eibachs - buy them!
Brandon
