You can find a WR (Euro) cam in any Canadian 1980-83 5kt.
Yes, it is worth trying to find one.

Subject: [urq] WR camshaft
I think the planets are aligned now...
- I am going to France at the end of the month
- I will soon replace a leaky valve cover gasket
- Then, I will check/adjust the valves on the engine at the same moment.
So, why not replace the WX camshaft with an Euro WR? Or maybe an Euro Typ
43 camshaft ?
Is this a good idea to gain HP without modifying the car too much?
If I do so, will the WX produces a genuine 200 hp or will I have to tamper
with the ECU and the wastegate spring to attain that goal ?
Any BTDT or advices are welcome.
TIA,
Louis-Alain
