My rally car has a 034 EFI IIC system in it as well.
I have yet to take it to the dyno, and we have only used a narrow band on
the tuning, but so far the results are very impressive. Of course Javad
did the tuning for about 25 minutes in the passenger seat, so that'd be
about 10 hours of my time. LOL

I have a LM-1 wideband to install and things should progress from that
point forward with some concrete data numbers.

The install was pretty straightforward. There are some troubleshooting
things that I had to do with could be documented better and I'm going to
make a page on my website about that. For instance, there are some things
to look for in the software and sensors prior to even trying to start the
car with fuel. The most important thing is the counting of the teeth on
the wheel and the registering of the flat spot. Without that nothing
works. So that should be checked first and foremost. If you get
reference timing, then the plugs should be sparking in nice smooth
fashion. The 034 coils are pretty powerful. I am still looking for good
set of plugs which like those coils. So you should lay out the plugs
without fuel on the cam cover and have someone watch for spark on each plug
in a nice smooth pattern. Once you have spark and timing on cranking, the
injectors can be turned on and fuel added til the car catches. The cold
start pulses in 034 can actually make this pretty painless and if you have
good spark and timing, it'll go pretty quick.

Also the clarification of the pins on the Audi sensors would be useful to
many people. For instance the 3 pin count on the factory one window Hall
sensor, the factory VR sensors, the factory 6 pin TPS. Having all that
handy and how it connects to the 034efi system would be useful.

The 034 system would be perfect for Audis if it used the Stock Audi
Flywheel triggers and a Bosch Air Temp sensor. Those are two relatively
small things and not that big a deal. On the plus side is that it allows
for custom flywheels.
