It's the the P/N 447 611 021 (25,4 mm) BMC that will bolt right on to your
hydraulic booster, and the hard lines
match right up. You will only need a different reservoir and cover, P/N 443
611 301 B + 443 611 349 A.

Subject: [urq] Master cylinder upgrades
Hello,
I am in the middle of my brake upgrade on my UrQ. So far, I have installed
the G60 front calipers, new pads, rotors, and some custom stainless brake
lines
I had made. (I showed some guys these brake lines at Carlisle about a month
ago) For the rear, I have installed the S4/S6/V8 calipers with the vented
rear
rotors and also the stainless brake lines. New 4000 Q e-brake cables are
also
standing by for installation.
Today I want to install the new proportioning valve, brake servo and master
cylinder. The first two items are OE correct and will install without a
problem, but I have a question with the M/C. Someone told me that the "HOT"
upgrade
was to use the M/C from a (3B) 91' 200 20v. I have two new M/C sitting in
front
of me right now, an original UrQ (443 611 021) and the 200 M/C (441 611 021
B) The 200 M/C does not have the correct ports that I need to connect all
the
lines, in fact it only has two ports for brake lines. The UrQ M/C has 4
ports.
If I am missing something, please chime in. Or perhaps I didn't get a few
other bits that I need for this conversion? Any information would be
helpful.
Maybe my friend was wrong with his info about the "HOT" M/C upgrade? He has
owned
a UrQuattro for a long time and has many modifications done to his car, so I
trust his direction on this upgrade, but nobody is perfect and he might have
meant to say a different M/C?
I'll be working on my car, so if anyone has any info, please feel free to
call me on my mobile phone 856.577.3132. I will be in and out of the house
to
check e-mail also.
Thanks for your help,
Jim Furdyn
