Guys- 
I did some trouble shooting on my CC last night (in preparation for the long drive to UPG CT '05) and got it pretty narrowed down.  The ON, SET, RES stalk switch is fine, vacuum pump fine, vac pump vent valve fine, no vac leak.

Here's where I'm not sure  - 1.)   first I wasn't sure which system in Bentley to look at 1984 or 1985-1987.  According to the diagram it looked like 1984 but the access to the CC module was per 1985-1987 - ie pull connector through side of console versus take console apart.  I tested the above items per both years and passed most of the tests.  Except Inductive Pickup ands vac vent valves -  1984 spec was 400-800 ohms and 1985-1987 spec was 800-1200 ohms.  I set my DMM to "2K" and it read about ".600" so I'm hoping this is spec for 1984 unit. 

2.)  But I'm pretty sure its the vacuum vent valves.  Any good tips on adjusting these?
