Funny enough, the vented rotor on the back of my Urq (urS4 parts) rides very
close to the carrier (less than a mm clearance) on the inside of the car.
It is fairly consistent on both sides.  I chalked it up to manufacturing
tolerances, and considered modifying the carrier for more clearance but have
not yet done it (I had used rotors, so after grinding away the lip, I had
more carrier clearance).  Maybe it is more systematic.
