I think Sean was basically saying the same thing ... no, the IST docs do not 
have full schematics.  Even though the Bentley calls it a 1984 schematic, 
I've found that it matches my '83 with the original style fuse box pretty 
well.

That said, I got a set of schematics for the '83 from Audi many years ago 
... I've scanned them in (TIF format).  Perhaps Martin would like a copy to 
put up on his site ... let me know!

I also got a copy of the "Preliminary Repair Info" doc ... but it really 
doesn't have much that isn't also in the Bentley.
