Well if you were happy with the guy I might have taken
my car there.  It sounds like he's got too much
business already.   Too many folks going to college
and not the trades. 
I took a 27 hour autopainting course recently.  The
instructor turns away all restoration or rust work at
his own shop.  His standard insurance work on new car
crashes is good money without big headaches.
That other CT fellow near you with the silver urq
(name?) - same thing - his car was at the body shop
for a real long time - 9+ months?
For me, I can't afford to pay liability insurance
while the car sits at the shop. My insurance co thinks
my 19 year old drives the extra cars.
