It is not difficult to machine the cutout in the older transmission, but
don't wait until you have the engine bolted in place. It is a more
difficult job to do in situ :-{

I know the '83 tranny does not have the cutout for the stock 3B/MC sensor
block. I had to use a 5ktq tranny to be able to use stock MC sensor block.
The WX sensor block (single) might have issues, I never got into it as a
5ktq tranny was available to me.
