[urq] accelerator pedal woes...

Hi guys...
 
hey I had my gas pedal drop to the floor last Friday on the way home from work. Seems the rubber bushings (431 721 559) that connects the throttle cable to the pedal via the square weight/hinge disintegrated and fell out. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's experienced this....
 
I can get one bushing (431 721 559) but the other bushing is part of the actual cable assy and is NLA. (at least thats what Audi tells me)
 
What have you guys done to fix this problem ?  I'm sure I can fab something up but anyone get creative with this thing ???
