[urq] Marker Light Challenges

... try doing an archive search for marker flash ...

It really is a simple mod ... you take the brown ground line from the
marker bulb socket and attach it to the "hot" line going to the turn
signal on that side. It doesn't add a significant load to anything ...
other than the load of one marker light to the flasher circuit. The way
it works is that for operation with the headlights on the marker light
gets a low resistance to ground through the paralleled filaments for the
turn signals, and when the headlights are off the marker light gets a
low resistance to ground through the headlight and taillight filaments,
powered by the flasher circuitry. So the marker light will flash when
the turn signals are on independent of the headlights, and it will
operate as a marker light when the turn signals are off ...

I've got the "marker flash" mod on my car ... works great!

Is there any BTDT data anywhere on this procedure that I could either
download or print off? That would be nice little trick to complete
since I'll be fiddlin' with them anyway. I just don't want to overload
my system since installing the ambulance light and siren rack in
addition to my train horn! :-)
