[urq] Clutch hose - bypass the hard part?

... since the ury has the M/C under the hood you wouldn't need to worry 
about leakage ... perhaps it isn't a bad idea.  My tuppence would be to see 
what could be done without lengthening the amount of flexible line though 
... I was surprised to see how much expansion even a new hose undergoes.  I 
was trying to solve a clutch pedal friction point problem on my BiL's 4kQ 
and was feeling the hose while he depressed the clutch pedal ... I could 
easily feel the hose expanding!

I'm trying to remember exactly how the flex hose came off on that 4kQ ... 
ISTR that I needed to use a flare nut wrench or two to get enough purchase 
to be able to get it loose.

... no I'm not directly British (my mom was born a British subject), but 
I've always felt that the English definition of that term really fits well 
in this situation ...
