Dave,
Very cool, sounds exactly like what I'd like to see more on. Have you
done many track days with this setup, hook me up with more info.
The 993tt and 996tt calipers are plentiful and fairly cheap, custom
brackets don't really scare me. God knows there are folks coming out of
the woodwork making brackets.
It's where do you get the SQ rotors? Anybody have a line on them? What
modifications are necessary to make them work?
I'm fairly organized to do a set of Porsche calipers along with custom
hats to use the 993tt rotors, but like I said they just don't fit under
the coolest wheels in my garage the 8" Ronals. My biggest criteria is,
they work really good on track days. I've got a pair of the S4 rear
calipers I'm planning on switching over to my UrQ in the next few weeks.
But if I can't get this to work I'm not going to drop a ton of cash into
it, I'll just run the G60s on group drives with any Audi gatherings, and
run the Porsche calipers on front for track days.
