Guys-
well I re-checked my fluid level, turned the wheel back and forth lock to
lock a couple times - but there still seems to be a noise (so eloquently
described below) when the wheel is turned. Any suggestions?
TIA-
Brandon

Subject: PS pump noise
Guys-
as I posted last week, or earlier this week - can't remember - anyway my
PS fluid started leaking a little faster. On Wednesday evening I notice
(CAUTION - lame attempt to phonetically spell a car noise) a "kwish kwish
kwish" noise when I turn the wheel - virtually anything off dead center.
Not a groan, not a squeal. So yesterday morning I started the car briefly
to get out of the garage, then shut it down - pumped the brake pedal til it
went hard - ~35 pumps, Then opened up the PS fluid reservoir - it was
about two inches from the top. So I topped her off. So I'm driving back
from lunch today - same noise again. Pump brakes til hard open reservoir.
It's overflowing. I figured the noise was from low fluid....nope. So what
gives??
TIA for any thoughts and wisdom
Brandon
