As much as I hate admitting it...I have to agree with Brett.....almost.

 2 places I disagree...

On a dedicated track car, thats actually used for competition, they are an
excellent upgrade provided everything else that can be improved has been. For
example, putting stainless hoses on a track toy that still has G60's is
ludicrous, nobody on the planet could tell the difference between G60's with
stainless hoses or new rubber ones.

Stock hoses may last for 10 years....they may not be leaking anyway, but
they are well past the point of giving you that mushy feeling...and not the one
you get when you're with your wife/mistress/girlfriend....and for you PC
types....life partner. ;)

On the street its not worth the effort, or money. If you want to improve
your braking feel just replace your stock hoses every two years when you flush
your brakes, you'll be stunned how much difference that change alone makes.
Considering the cost of stainless lines you should be able to do all 4 corners 2
or 3 times with stock hoses. The thrifty types may wanna do the fronts every
two years and the rears every four...the rears dont see the higher pressures nor
do they have to do that steering flex like the fronts.

From the IME file..... customers car getting new rear calipers, new pads,
cables, and flush. His two year old GPR stainless lines on the rear came apart
just taking them loose from the hard line...BOTH sides!
