Yes, I agree.  This "Proud" owner of three other Audis (a 1994 A4 Audi
Quattro and a 1984 4000 LS Quattro) seems to have been smokin' something.  A
1984 4k for $5k?  Hmmmm...

I sent the seller a note implying that their reserve was about twice what
the market has been supporting for an early 83 with that many miles, and
that if they wanted it sold, they may want to consider lowering it.  No
reply yet...

As an authority on Gobi, I can tell you it's not a true Gobi (a good thing
IMO) - assuming the pics haven't been doctored (Gobi has a pinkish tint to
it).  That said, $15k reserve is a bit steep.

Quite a bunch of other non standard items on an "all stock" car from the 
painted ATF resevoir, the the CGT gauges cluster in the ash tray spot, non 
stock shift know, added quattro appliques in the interior etc. etc.  I 
"hate" ads selling cars for friends.
