I believe I have a letter dated 1991 stating that the estimated value of my  
car was 19K.  It may take some digging to find my "quattro" files, but I  
would be more than happy to fax it off to someone if it would help.
 
Not too long ago, I mentioned the group trying to put together a network of  
group members, friends and/or family that are in the automobile or insurance  
field.  Guys who have garages, etc. could put together letters stating  "Dear 
Sir, due to the limited production and importation of your vehicle I  estimate 
its current value at $$$$" yada yada yada.  I bet that Dennis  would love to 
have three or four letters from reputable shops putting his car  between 12K 
-- 18K.  Just an idea.
