For "on the Road" repair

While I was able to replace my Airflow meter with another one, I played with
the one off my car with the hole worn through. If this happens to you "in
the field," after removing the assembly from the car, you can loosen the
screw/nut holding the bracket underneath the Airflow metering plate on the
fender side and remove the screw and nut on the engine side, removing the
metal spring. Then reverse bend the spring and reinstall upside down,
taking care to check contact of the spring and the metering plate pin.
