Johan,

Did you also ceck/replace the front tie rods?  If loose, they can also cause
a noise.  In addition, I have had it happen that the front lower ball joint
retaining bolt was not properly seated in the indent of the ball joint,
essentially letting the ball joint slip up and down while driving.  I have
found that it's a good idea to use a prybar to assist in this adjustment to
push the top of the balljoint down a couple of millimeters.  Never use a
prybar to expand the clamping joint itself.  Another reason to examine and
likely replace this bolt and associated nut.  Let us know what you find out.
