Hi Guys,
seems I found the cause to the noise. I checked the steering rack
and it seemed in good condition. I also checked the ball joints...
In the end I think it was the sway bar bushings that were causing the noise.
Even though they looked to be in good condition. I changed these and haven't
heard the noise after that. Thanks for all the help.
By the way, how many of you llive in Paris or nearby? I hope you and your
quattros have survived the recent ryots. Hope it calms down soon.
Cheers,
Johan Hisinger
