[urq] Why can't Audi do this for the Urq??

Or 3.0 CSL parts? Well said, Bruce, unfortunately.

I wonder whether the Japanese are proving to be any better at this. Not too long ago I
could buy whatever weird buts I needed from the dealer for an '88 Mazda 323 GTX (turbo awd
hatch, *maybe* a few thousand built). I wonder how hard it will be to buy NSX parts from
Honda in a few more years.

Ingo, I'm willing to bet 90% or more of the Urq parts are still available (if you count
nuts, bolts and washers). The issue is which parts are in the 10% which are unavailable.
Further, there were over 330,000 BMW 2002's produced (7 years) which far exceed the
limited production of the Urq at around 11,000 copies (11 years). From a manufacturer's
economic point of view, this is apples and oranges. From a personal point of view, I share
your frustration and realize my factory original car will ultimately be compromised. I
wonder how many M1 parts are available.
