I had similar problems earlier this year. I left a couple of messages
and just kept trying. Eventually, I got an answer, and the woman I
spoke to said John had received my messages and had been meaning to call
me. I think she also mentioned something about everyone at the shop
being sick. I got my rebuild kit shortly thereafter. Maybe somebody in
the vicinity can chat with them to see what's up.
Justin, if you need one immediately, I have a spare booster available.
It's the earlier iron-bodied one (but it's interchangeable with the Al
one). I put new seals in it and repainted it, then ran it on my car for
a short time until I got parts for my original Al unit. If you want,
you can have it and just send me your old one after you get a rebuild
kit for it.
I'm hoping to have all the parts for another spare (this one Al) soon.
If anyone has an old booster (either type) they no longer want let me
know. Maybe I can build up a stash of loaners that'll keep folks from
lubricating their engine bay while waiting for the seals.
Eric
