[urq] central door locking motor on for a long time

Hi,

there is a weird problem on my -88 MB quattro. The central door locks are 
working fine, the odd thing is that when I turn the key the "engine" or is 
it a pump?? goes on in the back of the car ( on the left hand side, about 
where the rear wheel is), but when the doors are locked, this pump continues 
to work for about a minute. The locks works at normal speed.

Does anyone know where the fault lies? Or is this normal? (I haven't owned 
the car for that long, but I am pretty sure the pump would stop in a few 
seconds after turning the key)
