... let me begin by thanking you for these fantastic pix Mark!

I suspect that the reason this car didn't make it farther ... oops, I
hope I don't get that thread started again! ... may not have been a lack
of support from above, but rather the demise of Gruppe B racing.  I see
the date on the mount below the car indicates it was built in the late
'80s ... which would have been around the time it was decided to end
Group B.  Thinking of this car and the 959 Rally car ...  what might
have followed ...
