If by 83.5 you mean VIN greater than ...0357 then you should have 443
611 021, which is pretty common and used on most of the type 44 cars.  A
new OEM (ATE) unit can be had from various places for just over $100.

If you're unfortunate enough to have the early 857 611 019, that appears
to be a hen's tooth.  Impex (dealer) has those for $450.

Does anyone know any reason why one couldn't substitute the type 44 MC
for the early one?  I know for a fact that the hydraulic boosters are
compatible.  You'd have to get the proper reservoir, and maybe tweak the
lines a bit, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
