  Bill, I have some first hand knowledge of nuclear testing, its my job to know.   In fact today I hiked a couple miles of terrain where some of the above ground shots were conducted in the 50's and early 60'.  Guess what, you never would have imagined what even happened there.  Beautiful vegatation and wildlife completely unaffected at the Test Site. 

  What I suggested about Katrina is not that out of whack, just politically incorrect.  People can die of starvation and disease and chaos of Katrina, thats ok, but if the DOD busted up Katrina with an air-burst nuke, the effects would be absolutely minimal if any at all.  It could have been done days before it even got near shore and population.

  Know nuke?  Go NUKE !!!
