[urq] Interior Interchange Question

Well, you can put almost any interior into it. It's just a matter of time you want to spend doing it. As long as the donor car is about the same size, it should all look pretty good as well.
I've put a 4k interior into a Fox. Quite a bit of mods, but it looked great when finished!
Just carefully lay it all out, and mark where the mounting locations are. Also, for the front seats, measure the width of the rear seat rails. They are probably wider in the coupe Quattro. You might have to bend them slightly. Also, if the donor front seats are power, the front mounting will use two bolts, not the center slider of the UrQ.
As far as carpet, both sections would have to come out of a Quattro. The front piece goes ever so slightly over the driveshaft hump, so it would have to be used as well. Unless of course you are building a console to cover the slice you would have to put in the front section.
Good luck, and lit us know how it all turns out.

This may be a dumb question, but the only model that fully interchanges with
the UrQ interior is the 4000 series right? I know, seat backs are different
and there was a change in seat slider handle locations in '84 but, as an
example, a coupe quattro rear seat (top and bottom) will not fit an urq,
right?
